Visiting and doing shopping in Helsinki!

We arrived to Helsinki at 11.30 a.m. We began to visit the city and to buy some stuffs in the Marquet Square.
After that, we took a ferry to go to Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress.
We stopped to lunch and we did shopping in Marimekko and Stockmann (famous shops here). I bought a lot of things from Mummi's shop: a book, a refector, a tee-shirt,...
After that we went to book's shop (it was like a Fnac, but here it doesn't exist) and i bought few finnish books. Actually, I wanted to buy the Kalevala's book but I spent enought money for today..So I had to stop!!


In the first photo, it's the Helsinki's University (our guid told us that our university is bigger than this university because we have a huge campus, and in Helsinki they only have this building. So we had luck!!)
I'm with Gaedic (Caen, France)It's very good to be with her because she speaks finnish. The bus driver didn't speak english, so i had luck because she was always translated me the sentences. Lolol!!

In the second photo, it's the National Theatre. It had been built in 1902, by Ovni Tarjanne, after wining the Examination in 1898.

In the third and fourth photo, it's Lutherian Cathedral (the mayority is lutherian here). It's one of the most important catedral in Finland. Carl Ludvig Engel had built this catedral. Inside, it was so huge and beautiful, but there wasn't a lot of decoration.
